Douglas J Sanderson
As a small lad I always told my parents I was going to be a librarian. Of course my parents thought this was cute because I always had a book in front of my face. Still young and in the third grade I was tasked by my teacher to write a short story From that point on the writing bug took hold of me and never let go. From poetry to cards and everything in between I was now in an elite club. The path forward had highs and lows. In my early manhood I belonged to my county writer's guild. When I met my wife I inundated her with so many poems the paper was used to build our first condo. At least it could have been. My dream has always been to see something I write on a shelf amongst friends. I've always been my worst critic and talked myself out of several opportunities towards my dream. Now I feel it's time to move forward and with my daughter in full cheerleader mode I hold my head high and pencil higher.
