Dr James R WelshDr. James R. Welsh is a college graduate with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Miami and a Doctorate of Public Administration from Nova [Southeastern] University located in Fort Laudedale, Florida. As a career police officer employed with the Hialeah Police Department for over 26 years, he had the opportunity to enter the field of law enforcement as a rookie police officer in 1968 and retired out as a captain in 1994. After retiring, Jim was employed as a peacekeeper for both United Nation's International Police Task Force (IPTF) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and OSCE Kosovo Verification Mission as a Human Rights Investigator in SUVA REKA just outside of the City of PRIZERN. These endeavors along with numerous teaching assignments, at both the undergraduate and graduate level, have given him the opportunity to gain an insight into a wide range of different folk's living and dealing with the negative and abusive aspects of power.
