Duane BaroneDuane Barone graduated from Columbine High School in 1983 and went on to receive a degree in psychology from Texas A&M University along with a master's degree in psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver. With over 30 years of experience in he mental health field, Duane founded the nonprofit organization STudent Athletes for Healthy RelationshipS (STAHRS.org), on Valentine's Day 2018. The mission of this organization is to lower the trajectory of violence in our schools, families, and communities through building acceptance and explaining basic human psychology and behaviors. STAHRS believes that teaching young men and women how to recognize unhealthy patterns they have picked up since childhood, and giving these men and women the tools to reprogram their behavioral patterns can foster a brighter future for us all.
