DuboisLudovic "Grun" Dubois was fascinated by American comic books since childhood. When he discovered the works of Moebius, however, he decided to pursue his passion and become a full-time illustrator. He graduated with honors from the Beaux-Arts d Bordeaux and began designing nature magazines while also experimenting with short comic strips. He soon joined the video game company Kalisto as a concept artist and designer, but as creatively fulfilling as these pursuits were, they still weren't comics. He soon met comic writer Eric Corbeyran (No Future) with whom he would co-create his first full comic series, The Opal Conspiracy, in 2005.
