DuBonna Dawkins

Dubonna Dawkins was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. At an early age, she became interested in writing short stories and wrote for her middle school newsletter. Dubonna attended The Ohio State University where she was a varsity track and field ahlete, and later earned her MBA from Ashford University. Dubonna published and co-authored her first book, A Composition of Life, a collection of poetry. Dubonna went on to start Empowerment Zone Publishing Company where she currently serves as Managing Partner.
