That estimation resonated in 2021, when Mothership appeared in a story headlined "Sci-Fi Has Changed A Lot In The Past Decade--These 7 Reads Will Show You How," which ran on NPR.org's main page. Hall's first novel, Dread Isle, was published by Gumbohaus in December 2020. His new novelette, Green Treacheries, is set to appear in the MVmedia anthology Terminus 2 in 2022.
