Edward Salem
Edward Salem is the author of Intifadas (Sarabande, 2026), selected by Hanif Abdurraqib as the winner of the Kathryn A. Morton Prize in Poetry and a finalist for the National Poetry Series, and Monk Fruit (Nightbat, 2025), the winner of the Nightboat Poetry Prize. His writing appears in The Paris Review, The Yale Review, The New York Review of Books, Poetry, Granta, and elsewhere. He is the founding co-director of City of Asylum/Detroit, a nonprofit that provides safe-haven fellowships to writers and artists in exile who have been persecuted for their work.
