Eileen Peña CravenEileen was born in Queensland in Northern Australia during the Second World War and has witnessed many key moments in Australian and world history. Throughout her youth and in her later career, Eileen has always retained interest in Australia's Aboriinal past, white settlement, and, in more recent times, migration. In her first book, The Weave, she draws on her own experience in meeting people from varied backgrounds through listening to their stories, experiences and values.
