Elizabeth GraswichDr. Elizabeth Graswich understands leaders. First as a newspaper reporter and now as a senior communications executive, Elizabeth has seen some leaders make decisions in self-interest and others act for the greater good. Her experiences as a journalit and in K-12 education convinced her the world needs more responsible leaders who operate as protectors of the people they serve. The best leaders engage with and learn from people at all levels, inside and outside their organizations. Through these interactions, they gather data-informed evidence to consider before making decisions. In her academic research, Elizabeth found her responsible leader interviewees engaged in reflection practices. The self-awareness among these executives sparked her interest in structured reflection. Not coincidentally, Elizabeth began her lifelong practice of reflection in childhood, when her father gave her a journal to write down feelings and ideas. Elizabeth believes by fostering structured reflection, responsible leaders cultivate ethical decision-making that prioritizes people and long-term impacts in an era of relentless technological advancement, change, and disruption. Elizabeth holds a doctoral degree in organizational change and leadership from the University of Southern California. Read More Read Less
