Elizabeth SojournerElizabeth Sojourner has divided her working life be- tween being an educator and a writer. She was a specialist in early childhood education and taught English language arts and social studies at the secondary education level to students with signifiant social and emotional challenges in a full-time, year-round program. In between she took time off to write poetry and fiction, completing one novel and beginning two others. In 2012 she stopped teaching and began writing once more.
