Ember MarkussenEmber Markussen, author of Sanctuary, weaves a life of soulful storytelling and shadow work. A writer and a healer, she conducts transformational breathwork sessions in addition to writing regular contributions to Enchanted Living magazine. Ember is sought-after storyteller and a Sister of Avalon, where she continues her priestess training. She holds undergraduate (Smith College) and Master's (UCI) degrees in History, and is certified in Breathwork, Reiki, and End-of-Life Doula Work. Ember is passionate about feminine energy, sacred union, conscious parenting, authentic expression, and the creation of a New Earth through slow living.
