Enrico BorrelliEnrico Borrelli, MD, graduated from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan, Italy) in 2013. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Gabriele D’Annunzio University (Chieti, Italy) and his clinical research fellowship in medical retina and rtinal imaging at Doheny Eye Institute, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (Los Angeles, CA, USA). Currently, he works as retina specialist at San Raffaele Hospital (Milan, Italy). His research interests include image analysis and ocular imaging (retinal and choroidal disorders), age-related macular degeneration (AMD), pachychoroid disease, and diabetic retinopathy. He has performed pioneering work in opening the field of color autofluorescence and in employing OCT angiography to detect changes in the choriocapillaris in AMD subjects.
He has authored or co-authored over 160 articles in peer reviewed international journals. He has given a number of invited lectures at meetings.
