Eric NewmanI've spent my career in finance. In 2009, I took my wife and 3 kids to Iceland for a week. My wife was six months pregnant, and I was on crutches from having a pin put in my hip a couple of months earlier. But we still had a great time. Fast forward o 2016, when I was lucky enough to take a sabbatical from work. We decided to spend the summer in Iceland ... now with 5 children! We managed to avoid the crutches and the pregnancy this time, but we traveled with our new baby (3 months old when we arrived!) in addition to our four older children, ages 7, 10, 12, and 14. We spent the first half of our trip travelling around Ring Road and experiencing all of the points of interest we could make it to, so we could let our readers know which ones we think are worth a look. In the second half of the trip, we settled down near Reykjavik and explored the more urban tourist attractions.
