Erkan OterkusErkan Oterkus is a Professor in the Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean, and Marine Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. He is also the Director of the newly established PeriDynamics Research Centre (PDRC) at Strathclyde. Before joining trathclyde, he was a researcher at NASA Langley Research Center in the US. His main research areas include peridynamics and structural health monitoring. He is the co-author of the first book on peridynamics and has co-authored numerous publications on the topic.
