Ethel C PedleyEthel Charlotte Pedley is best known as an English-born Australian author, composer, music educator and pianist. She was born in Acton near London in 1859 and at the age of 5 started to learn the piano. The family migrated to Australia in the 1870s bt shortly after she was to return to London and study at the Royal Academy of Music.
