Eugene Clark
Prof. Dr Eugene Clark is Distinguished Professor, China University of Political Science and Law. He is also Emeritus Professor of Law, University of Canberra. His first law degree was from Washburn University in the United States where he was admited to practice before the Kansas and United States District Courts. He also holds a PhD in Law from the University of Tasmania and two Master's Degrees in Education. His former roles include: Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of the Law School, University of Canberra; Executive Dean, Faculty of Law, Business and Arts, Charles Darwin University, Dean, Charlotte School of Law; Dean, Phoenix School of Law; and Head of Business Law, Griffith University.
He has published 20 books and over 100 journal articles, including: Managers and the Law (2nd eds.) (with Griggs et al.), and Australian Financial Institutions Law (1993, 2nd ed. 1996, with Blay) and Australian Marketing Law 1994, with Livermore). He is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Business and Government, Journal of Law, Information and Science and International Journal of Technology, Policy and Law. Eugene was the general editor, author of the Introduction materials and new section on Future of Australian Contract Law. He also assisted co-authors with general updating of this title and also completed the Case Index.
