Eugene Peterson

Eugene H. Peterson, pastor, scholar, poet, and writer, is the author of more than twenty books, including The Contemplative Pastor. He founded Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, Maryland, and pastored that church for twety-nine years. He is professor emeritus of spiritual theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia, and lives with his wife, Jan, in Montana. They have three children and six grandchildren.
