F. E. HallidayFrank Ernest Halliday was an academic who wrote on a wide range of subjects. Halliday was educated at King's College, Cambridge, where he earned his M.A. in 1928. He taught English and history at Cheltenham College, and served as head of the Englis Department there, from 1929 to 1948.
