Fawzia CassimFawzia Cassim is a former Associate Professor of Law and subject head of the civil procedure unit at the University of South Africa, South Africa. She is presently a Research Fellow in the Department of Criminal and Procedural Law at the Univesity of South Africa, South Africa. Before entering academic life, she practised as an attorney specializing in civil and criminal litigation. She has been admitted as an attorney of the then Supreme Court of South Africa, Natal High Division and as a conveyancer of the then Supreme Court of South Africa, Transvaal High Division. She is presently practising part-time as a conveyancer in Johannesburg, South Africa.
