Forrest R Hansen"

Forrest Hansen grew up in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and was a resident of Scranton, Pennsylvania, when he commenced the research and writing of this book. As a young man he often visited Harmony and other nearby Church historical sites. Forrest had a enlightening experience while camping at the Priesthood Restoration Site (when camping was permitted), which provided the impetus for this fifteen-year project. In 2003, he graduated from Brigham Young University and in 2007 from American University Washington College of Law. He and his wife Shannon have five children--Logan, Adalyn, Thomas, Colton and Kailee.
