Frances ItaniFrances Itani is the author of a novel, four acclaimed short story collections, three poetry collections and a children's book. She won a Commonwealth Award for Deafening, which was also short-listed for the 2005 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Aard. Her recent collection of stories, Poached Egg on Toast, won the CAA Jubilee Award for Best Book of Short Stories in Canada, as well as the 2005 Ottawa Fiction Award.
