Francesca CardonaDr Francesca Cardona was born in Florence, Italy. After her Ph. D. in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. A. Brandi (1998) she was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, in the group of Prof. P. Vogel (1999-2000). Fro 2002 she is a researcher at the University of Florence. In 2006 she received the G. Ciamician silver medal of the Italian Chemical Society, as the best organic chemist of the year under 35 years old. She has more than 50 publications and 5 chapters in scientific books.
