Francesco BaldiFrancesco Baldi holds a PhD in modeling, analysis, and optimization of ship energy systems. His expertise covers a wide set of topics related to energy efficiency in shipping, ranging from innovative technologies (such as fuel cells and waste heat reovery systems) to different types of methodologies (such as energy analysis, energy systems optimization and data analysis). He has a documented track record in scientific publications, made of conference contributions, journal articles and contributions to the book “Shipping and the Environment”. After his PhD at Chalmers University of Technology and a PostDoc at EPFL financed by the Marie Skłodowska Curie program, he’s now a full-time researcher at the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development.
