Franziska Roy

Franziska Roy is currently a Research Fellow at the Zentrum Moderner Orient. She studied law, philosophy, and history at Humboldt University of Berlin, completed her MA from the School of Oriental and frican Studies (SOAS), London, and received her PhD from Warwick University. Her publications include the edited volume When the War Began, We Heard of Several Kings (2011) on South Asian prisoners of war during the Great War, and she has also published on aspects of the global entanglements of South Asia(ns) in the twentieth century.
