Frederick E LeicklyI love history. I thought my career path was to teach history and coach football. However, it took a different turn. Now in retirement, I went back to my passion for history in putting together this work.I graduated from Cleveland State University. Fom there, on to graduate school in pharmacology and medical school at Case Western Reserve University. Then, off to Duke University for a residency/chief residency in pediatrics followed by a fellowship in allergy/immunology. Much later, it was back to school for my master's in public health at the Indiana University School of Medicine. I was the director of Pediatric Allergy Clinical Services at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, then on to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis to establish an allergy program. I ended my medical career in a private practice opportunity in Columbus, Indiana. I have been married to my loving wife, Linda, for fifty-two years. We have three children, Bethany, Brandon, and Eric; and five grandchildren, Stella, Miles, Calvin, Anna, and Margaux. Read More Read Less
