Gabriella Gutierrez y Muhs

Gabriella Gutierrez y MuhsGabriella Gutierrez y Muhs is a poet since childhood, a professor and polyglot. She researches subjectivity and teaches at Seattle University. She is the author of several books of poetry and research. A Chicana, daughter of Mexican immigrants: factoy, cannery and fi eld workers. She is privileged, and profoundly grateful to all the people who have weaved a hammock of solidarity for her to lay on, and thrive. Her work has been anthologized and published in journals, newspapers and other collections. She has presented her poetry in many countries, including Colombia, Chile, Argentina, France, Spain, India and Mexico, and often keynotes for conferences and organizations in the US. She does not believe in the binaries established by our current political climate and owes much of her wisdom to her allies and mentors. Read More Read Less
