Gayane Vardanyan

Gayane Vardanyan Professor of Biochemistry Department, Yerevan State Medical University, teaching a general course in biochemistry.

She conducts studies on the neurochemical mechanisms of pain, investigates the functioning of the brain rewar system during formation of obesity, as well as manages research work on the possible role of disturbances in the processes of opioidergic neurotransmission during development of diabetic neuropathy.
