Gene SkipworthGene Skipworth was born in Blackwell, OK and raised in the southern Illinois oil fields as his dad was an oilfield laborer. He graduated from Carmi, Illinois high school and attended the University of Illinois. After one year of teaching he attended nited Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
