George S. WilliamsonGeorge S. Williamson is Associate Professor of History at Florida State University, USA. He is the author of The Longing for Myth in Germany: Religion and Aesthetic Culture from Romanticism to Nietzsche (2004). His article 'What Killed ugust von Kotzebue: The Temptations of Virtue and the Political Theology of German Nationalism, 1789-1819,' Journal of Modern History (2000) received the Hans Rosenberg Prize for best article in German history in 2000-2001 from the Central European History Society.
