Gerhard L WeinbergGerhard L. Weinberg nació en Hannover, Alemania, en 1928, y vivió desde 1939 hasta 1940 en Inglaterra. Posteriormente se mudó a los EE.UU. y en 1944 trabajó en el Proyecto de Documentación de Guerra, el establecimiento del proyecto de microfilmación el estudio de los documentos alemanes capturados. Ha sido profesor en las universidades de Kentucky, Michigan y Carolina del Norte, y se retiró en 1999. Weinberg ha ocupado numerosos cargos en organizaciones profesionales y ha sido miembro y presidente de varios comités asesores del gobierno de Estados Unidos.
