In 1947, Dr. Shugar founded a chemical manufactuing business that became the largest exclusive pearlescent pigment manufacturing company in the United States. In 1968, he was appointed assistant professor of chemistry at Rutgers University, where he taught until his appointment at Essex County College. Donald A. Drum is chairman of the technology/natural sciences division of Butler Community College in Butler, Pennsylvania. An expert on hazardous materials, he is a member of the Butler County Hazmat Advisory Team, which has been cited in more than 100 texts and professional and governmental publications. Jack Lauber is section chief of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Air Resources. He is a diplomate of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and a Qualified Environmental Professional, certified by the Institute for Professional Environmental Practice. Shari L.
