Havin been born and raised in India, where approximately 40% of the food produced in India is wasted every year while 22 percent of its population is undernourished, saddened him. His concern for the destitute (beggars) motivates him to read Luke-Acts, especially the meal scenes regarding hunger and hospitality. His PhD research from the University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, proposes a Christology in terms of hunger and hospitality. He is pastoring a church in Madurai, Tamilnadu, India, and teaches New Testament, Greek, and Theology.
