Gilles CyrWinner of Canada's Governor General's Prize for Poetry in 1992, Gilles Cyr has established himself as one of the leading Quebecois poets of his generation. His volumes of poetry include Sol inapparent (1978), Diminution d'une pièce (1982), Andromède ttendra (1991), Songe que je bouge (1994), and Pourquoi ça gondole (1999). His work has appeared in periodicals worldwide and been translated into German, Spanish, Dutch, and Persian.
