Giose RimanelliWinner of the prestigious American Book Award for his avant-garde novel, Benedetta in Guysterland, in 1994, Giose Rimanelli is the author of numerous novels, poetry collections, collections of essays, and innumerable journal articles and reviews. He s, in addition, a long-time painter in both oils and watercolor. His debut novel, Tiro al piccione (1952; The Day of the Lion [1954]) was later made into a movie by Giuliano Montaldo.
