Glenda GartellGlenda Gartrell has three children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She moved to Sydney in the 1970s with her partner, joined the women's revolution and has been a community activist ever since. Before taking up paid employment, Glena was a community voice in various areas, including management of life-sentence prisoners, CSIRO animal ethics advice and others. She was also the research and speech writer to the NSW premier and spent a decade in NSW government departments.
