Glyn DanielGlyn Daniel was born in 1914 and educated at Barry County School and at University College, Cardiff, from which he went to St John's College, Cambridge. He graduated with first class honours and went on to obtain his PhD in 1938. He joined the RAF afer the outbreak of the Second World War and served as an Intelligence Officer from 1940 to 1945. He returned to Cambridge after the war and was appointed Disney Professor of Archaeology in 1974. Glyn Daniel died in 1986. Read More Read Less
