Glynnis HoodGlynnis Hood has worked in various protected areas throughout western Canada and into the Subarctic region and boreal plains. She served 19 years with Parks Canada as national park warden, with postings at Jasper, Waterton Lakes, Wood Buffalo and ElkIsland national parks. She completed her master's degree work on human impacts on grizzly bear habitat availability, and her Ph.D. research on beaver ecology and management. She is now an associate professor in Environmental Science at the University of Alberta's Augustana Campus.
