Gordon BiddleGordon Biddle is a founder member and vice president Railway and Canal Historical Society. He has written thirteen books on waterways history and railway architecture and civil engineering. A long-time resident of north Lancashire and Cumbria, for may years he has had a special interest in the Lancaster Canal. He has extensively researched its history locally and in the canal's original records in the National Archive.
