Grant FarquharOriginally from Scotland, Grant Farquhar has been climbing for over thirty-five years. He completed his postgraduate medical training while living in North Wales during the 1990s, taking every spare opportunity to climb. He onsighted hundreds of E6s nd numerous E7s throughout the region, but, of all places, the sea cliffs of Gogarth were his favourite. Since then, he has lived in Australia and New Zealand, and is currently resident in Bermuda where he runs his own private psychiatric practice, Atlantis Psychiatry, which incorporates climbing therapy. He is the author of several climbing books, including The White Cliff and The Blue Cliff. His favourite place to climb now is deep water soloing above the warm, turquoise waters of Bermuda.
