Guiyou HuangGuiyou Huang is the Chancellor of Louisiana State University of Alexandria. Previously he had served as Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs & Dean of the Faculty & Professor of English at Norwich University, Vermont; as Dean of Liberal Arts & ean of Undergraduate Studies & Programs at St. Thomas University, Florida and other leadership roles, including Honors College Director at Grand Valley State University, Michigan; Chair of the English Department and Director of University Honors Program at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Huang’s teaching and research concern four main areas: American literature, Asian American Studies, China-US comparative cultural studies, and Intellectual Globalization. He taught American literature and literary theory in universities of the US and China, including Lehigh University; Texas A&M University - College Station; Beijing University; and Qufu Normal University. He is author and editor of 12 books, author of over 60 printed articles and essays.
