H.C. BaileyHenry Christopher Bailey was born in London on 1 February 1878 and died on 24 March 1961. She studied classics at Oxford University, where she received her B.A. in 1901.She began working as a journalist for The Daily Telegraph, writing about war and ournalism and writing editorials for the newspaper. He mainly used to write short stories, and his stories were darker and involved murder, obsession, police corruption, financial skullduggery, child abuse, and miscarriages of justice.
