Hacer AkerHacer Aker graduated from Selcuk University, Faculty of Communication Radio, Television and Cinema Department. She completed her Master’s Degree in the Social Sciences Institute of the same university in 2010. She worked in different positions in varous media organizations till 2012. Later she was appointed as a research assistant in 2013. She completed her Phd at the aforementioned department at Selcuk University. Since 2020, she continues work at Selcuk University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema as a Assistant Professor. Her academic research interests include new communication technologies, film studies, politic cinema, cultural policies, philosophy, poverty and comedy besides communication studies.
