Haffner RandyDr. Randy Haffner, Ph.D., M.B.A., serves as President and CEO of AdventHealth's Multi-State Division. He is a graduate of Walla Walla College in Washington and holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Busness at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. He received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Leadership from Andrews University in Michigan. Prior to his multi-state role, Dr. Haffner served as CEO of Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and as President of the South Denver Group for Centura Health. Dr. Haffner previously served as the Administrator of AdventHealth Orlando in Florida. In this role, he provided leadership and oversight for the operations of 1,081 inpatient beds and ancillary services. In addition, Dr. Haffner provided direct oversight for the AdventHealth Cardiovascular Institute. Noteworthy projects under his leadership include a $258 million 15-story bed tower, the Extending Excellence (Baldrige) journey, and transplantation service expansion. Early in his career, Dr. Haffner served as the Chief Executive Officer of Volusia Medical Center in Orange City, Florida, leading a joint-venture new hospital with the West Volusia Hospital Authority. As the youngest of four children born to a minister and a nurse, Dr. Haffner has nurtured a lifelong passion for faith-based healthcare and extending the healing ministry of Christ. Through his Baldrige interests, he advocates for balanced performance across the spectrum of healthcare, including clinical results, service standards, team development, market growth, and financial stewardship.
