Hala AbdelghanyHala Abdelghany received her PhD in linguistics from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York where she was trained in psycholinguistic lab experimentation by some of the most distinguished researchers in the field. Her research has bee discovering patterns in human sentence processing with special focus on ambiguity in Arabic sentence production and perception with a fine-grained interest in the semantic-prosody interface. She works as an Associate Arabic Linguist analysing data for machine learning and NLP.
