She previously held postdoctoral research positions at the Centre for Advanced Materials,Qatar University, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Yamaguchi University, Japan, the Centre RAPSODEE, IMT Mines, Albi, France, and the Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
