She is the author of Television and British Cinema (2014) and Biographical Television Drama (2021) and has published widely on televisionand cinema in journals such as Screen, Journal of British Cinema and Television, Comedy Studies and Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television. She is an editor at Critical Studies in Television: The International Journal of Television Studies.
