She is a child and adolescent pschiatrist with more than 30 years of clinical experience. Her research interests have included developmental disorder/delay in childhood anxiety disorders in general and in social anxiety disorder and selective mutism in particular. Dr. Kristensen is one of the leading experts on selective mutism and social anxiety disorder in children.
