Haydn Trowell is a literary translator who specializes in contemporary Japanese fiction, and the translator of Maki Kashimada' Akutagawa Prize-winning novel Touring the Land of the Dead. He holds a doctorate in translatio studies and literary stylistics from Monash University, Australia.
