Heather Zwicker

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Heather Zwicker has lived in Honolulu, New York City, San Francisco and Mzumbe, Tanzania, but she always comes back to Edmonton. A professor of English at the University of Alberta, shehas taught cultural studies courses on the city<;> during the Edmonton Centennial, she served as an adjudicator for the <">Edmontonians of the Century<"> competition. This book grew from her love of urban history and her desire to give voice to diverse perspectives on Edmonton. She lives in the neighbourhood of Inglewood with her partner and two cats.
