Henk Jochemsen

Henk JochemsenHenk Jochemsen got his PhD in molecular biology at Leiden University in 1979. He worked in bioethics in a private institute in The Netherlands and held a special chair of Christian medical ethics at the VU University medical centre from 1998- 2009. Sbsequently, from 2008 -2018 he held the (part time) special chair of Christian Philosophy at Wageningen University and Research. That same period he was the director of Prisma, association of Christian organizations in development cooperation. He published and lectured widely in the fields of (medical) ethics and also in development studies and sustainable agriculture. He was one of the scholars that in the nineties of last century developed the first version of the Normative Practice Approach. Read More Read Less
